Established in 1989, Quantamatic has decades of expertise manufacturing small diameter parts, ranging from 0.80 to 20mm, with Swiss Escomatic & Japanese Star CNC machines. We currently are the fastest growing producer of quality small turned parts in the UK and export to the EEC, USA and the Far East.

We work in industries, from electronics to aerospace, that demand the highest quality. Quantamatic provides that quality by working in line with our BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. If required we provide component documentation in line with the ISO/TS 16949 (PPAP) Quality Management standard, as per customer specific requirements.

OUR MACHINES

Automatic and numerically-controlled lathes used for the production of small diameter parts ranging from 0.80 to 20mm. Unlike conventional lathes, Escomatics are based on a unique concept that results in quicker changeovers and more efficient production.

The material, which is coil stock or bar available up to a length of 500mm, does not rotate. The cutting tools are mounted onto the tool head which rotates around the material to produce the components.

A wide range of attachments facilitate:

Front threading
Back threading
Back drilling
Cross drilling
Milling
Slotting
Crimping
Knurling
Indexing

Fully automated 24/7 production, in ferrous, non-ferrous and exotic materials, all from coil and bar, in round, square, hexagon, rectangle and custom profiles.
